Bath time!

Oh what fun bath time is at our house. Eric has graduated out of his little duck bathtub on the counter to the big tub with his sisters. He is a little freaked out when he first gets in, but quicly realizes that his entertainers are with him. The girls are so good to him! They help wash him and give him toys to keep him happy. Emily loves to dump water on top of his head, while Kylee quickly takes a towel and wipes it off so it doesn't hurt his eyes. It is quite the show!

Day at the Park

Last Saturday, the kids and I enjoyed a day of shopping (well....I enjoyed it, not so sure the kids loved it, but they did get a few new spring outfits. Their reward for being good shoppers was a trip to the park for a picnic and some fun! It was a beautiful day and so fun to watch the kids run and play outside.

A beautiful first day of spring!

What a great day in Southern Utah! The first day of Spring here was absolutely wonderful! We spent all day outside working and playing in the yard. Stoney barbecued hot dogs with the girls, the girls made their slide into a water slide (who would think you could wear your swimsuit in March and play with a hose!) Eric loved being outside and watching the girls run and play. You could see in his eyes that he can't wait to be up and running around with them!

New Bunkbeds!

Oh how lucky we are to have a talented daddy! Kylee and Emily are now enjoying new bunkbeds made especially for them by their dad! It seems it has been more fun to just play on them instead of sleep on them. They each spend more time playing with their toys on the top bunk now. For some reason, playing up near the ceiling makes your old toys more fun!! Emily seems to think the ladder is not necessary, she prefers to climb up the end of the beds and scare me to death! I came in from running a 45 minute spinning class one morning to find that Emily, her bud, Crey, and her other bud, Hannah, had taken our hamster, Butterscotch out of her cage and thought that she would like the top bunk bed too! WELL, Butterscotch is not potty trained in the least! We almost lost our dear little hamster and we had a quite a mess to clean up after we found her and put her back!

Brian Head Ski Resort

I wish I could say we all spent a wonderful day on the slopes together skiing, but.... our dear friend, Aunt Julie, has been sick for over a year now and she was feeling like a day skiing might make her feel better. The kids and I quickly ran home and got all of our snow clothes and headed to Brian Head with Aunt Julie. Julie was able to make a few quick runs and we were excited for her. The girls made about 1000 runs on their bellies on the little slope by the ski slopes! They had a blast and it was a beautiful day on the mountain.

Happy 6th Birthday Kylee Jo!

What a princess -filled day this was!! Kylee Jo had a great 6th birthday! She, ofcourse, had to follow a princess theme! Kylee was surrounded by some of her closest friends for a wonderfully-pink time. The kids played games, had a treasure hunt, made their own princess wands and princess crowns, and decorated their own cupcakes. Kylee was in her glory! Our one boy of the group, Crey, was heralded as the king for the day! All in all, I think Ky had a great day and can't wait for another birthday! She is currently waiting for her 1st tooth to fall out. It has been very wiggly for the last couple of weeks. She wanted Stoney to pull it with some pliers, so he, ofcourse, hopped right to it. It was still pretty stuck, so when he told her it would bleed, she decided she could wait until it fell out on its own.

Happy 6 months Baby Blue!

Little (or not so little) Eric is 6 months old!! Hard to believe our little guy has been with us for 6 months now. We can't imagine our lives without him! He has been such a blessing in our home. Kylee and Emily absolutely adore him. He enjoyed going to Ash Creek on his 6 mo. birthday. He ate as many crackers as possible and loved watching the big kids play. He got so tuckered out, he fell asleep on the towel in the sand! What a sweet little guy! Eric is sitting up now on his own and loves to pull his big sissy's hair! He is always smiling and laughing and his big grin lights up the room! I went to a three day conference last week and Eric went with me. Grandma and Papa stayed with the girls at home. When I got home, Emily said, "I missed you too mom, but I really missed little, fat Eric!"

Spring is FINALLY Here!!

Can't believe the snow is finally gone! I know.. I know... it will snow again, but I can remain hopeful that our 65 - 70 degree is here to stay. Yesterday, Jami and I took the kiddos to Ash Creek to hang out and play. We couldn't believe how warm the water was and how much we have missed the warm sun and having the kids outside. The kids had a blast... digging in the sand, swinging on the swings, tromping through the creek and going on adventures. Even little Eric loved it! He loves being outside! The kids clothes (ofcourse) got sopping wet, so pretty soon, we had 4 little critters running around in their undies (thank goodness for small town, country livin')!
