Hanging out with Papa!

While visiting in Idaho Falls for Easter Break, the kids had a blast with their Papa! He played ball with the girls non-stop at a field by their house. He had a chance to get to know Eric a little better too and Eric is quickly falling in love with his Papa just like the girls have!

Who's Putting Who Down for a Nap?

This is the scene many afternoons in our house. Emily offers to give Eric his bottle and put him down for a nap...but look what happens! They both pass out! I love it!

Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful Easter with Grandma and Papa in Idaho Falls. We went to church and the kids loved it. After church, we had a quick lunch and then drove back home to Utah. It was a great drive since we brought Grandma back home with us!

Trip to Idaho Falls Zoo

On Saturday, before Easter, Grandma and Papa continued to spoil the kids with a trip to the Idaho Falls Zoo. They absolutley loved it! They ran from exhibit to exhibit...barely long enough to look at each animal; they were so excited. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time!

Spring Break Day #3

Day 3 was a fun-filled day. We headed out in the morning to find a great geocache. After that, we went to a great park for a picnic and play time. We came home to a beautiful afternoon and ran across the street to a big field to play kick ball and soccer. The kids also enjoyed home-made popsicles! It has been a great spring break!

Spring Break 2009 Day 2!

Well...it wasn't exactly the weather we were hoping for, but what can you expect from Idaho?? After a lazy morning, we finally headed out to do some geocaching. It was such a cold, windy and drizzly day, we only did one geocache. After that, we did what all good women do....we went shoe shopping! What better place to buy shoes than a place called the "Shoe Carnival." The girls were a little bummed there weren't any carnival rides :) We all (even Eric) walked away with a new pair of shoes. We worked up quite an appetite shopping, so we headed to Fazoli's for lunch. After lunch, was a fun-filled day back at grandma's with s0me heavy duty scooter-riding and a quick jaunt to the park across the street. After a fun-filled day, the girls relaxed in the HUGE bath tub at grandma and papa's place!

Spring Break 2009 Day 1

Well ... the kids and I got a wild hair Wednesday morning and decided to drive to Idaho Falls to spend Easter Break with Grandma and Papa. We were sad to be leaving daddy behind :( Since this was such a last minute decision, we didn't leave town until 3:00 pm. After a non-adventurous drive (thank goodness) we arrived at Papa and Grandma's house at 10:00 pm. The kids travelled so well. Don't know what I would do without Kylee's help. She helped give Eric his bottle and both girls made the ride totally easy and enjoyable. Who would think you could drive 7 hours with 3 kids and still be okay??

Trip to Papa John's Cabin!

Two weekends ago we decided to load up and head to the family cabin. The kids were so excited! We arrived late Friday night to a very cold cabin! We made a big family bed out of two queen beds and all slept warm and cozy! Saturday was a freezing cold, windy day, but we all had a great time inspite of the weather! We got a little softball in and had a huge bonfire. Saturday, the King family showed up and my girls were so excited; they just love their cousins! On Sunday, we all went for a great hike. I, ofcourse, forgot Eric's backpack and so we tried to think of something that we could pack him in. He rode in the truck to our hiking spot in his diaper bag, which he thought was great but it didn't work to carry him. We ended up trying a big bag into a sling but I just ended up carrying a big bag and Eric!! Go figure!!

Baby brown eyes!

Em and Eric have become the best of pals. Kylee always like to be with her friends and sometimes Em gets left out, so her and Eric have teamed up together. Whenever Em feels left out, she says, "who can play with me or who can watch my show with me?" My answer is always "Eric will do it with you." She happily agrees. They are so cute together with their big brown eyes!
