Happy 1st birthday Eric!

Cannot believe our little baby boy is 1 already. Time sure flies. What a blessing this little guy has been in our lives. Our family would not have been complete without him. Kylee and Emily are great big sisters and they just adore their baby brother. He loves them to death too! He especially loves to pester them and their toys! He is a pill! We get such a laugh at all the stunts he pulls... he is quite a dancer, a climber and a chaser. He has an amazing temper and a really loud voice when he wants something! There is never a question of what Eric wants... he just yells until he gets it!! Look out... we are in for a lot of trouble with this little guy.

Trip to Idaho and Montana

We decided this year over the Labor Day holiday that we would drive to Hamilton, Montana to visit some of Stoney's family he has not seen for years. When he was little, he lived in Pinesdale, Montana for a little while. We loaded up the truck and camper and headed for Montana. The first night, we pulled into the camp site next to Granmda and Papa in Idaho Falls. It was a great drive in the camper. Everyone slept, including mom! Poor Stoney! The next day, Shawn and Shelly, and Greg and Molly and their families arrived and we had lunch with Grandma & Papa and then left for Montana. We spent the night in a Super 8 motel (what a dive and it cost $108!) The next day we went to a cousin's house and had a big brunch with as many of the family that they could round up. The house we were at was my dream house. Right on a pond and a river with 80 acres of land. It was amazing. The kids enjoyed the day eating and riding around the pond in a paddle boat. After touring the old stomping grounds, we headed back to Idaho Falls. The next day, we attempted some river fishing, but that didn't go over so well. Took the little kids back to the campground to go swimming and Papa Virgil took the teenagers to ride go carts. I think it was a good excuse for him to finally try out the go carts! We all had a really great time and it was great to see so much family all in one trip. We headed back home on Labor Day and brought granny with us so she could tend the kids while Stoney and I went to San Antonio on a business trip.

Gotta love spring!

Gotta love spring time! Four-wheeler rides, climbing on the playhouse (daddy taught them a bad trick)! Selling eggs on the street corner, swimming in the pool! Kids are having a great time!

Mothers Day

I had a great Mother's Day with the kids and Stoney. We packed a picnic and headed over on Bumblebee Mountain in the Rhino. It was Eric's first big ride in the Rhino. He loved it! We found a lot of snow up on top of the mountain. It was such a warm, beautiful day! The kids played baseball with a plastic plate and snowballs.

Kylee's First Graduation: Kindergarten

Kylee graduated from kindergarten on May 5th! Yahoo! She was so excited to do their program. After the program, Mrs. Jones said, "I had no idea she was so dramatic and so animated!" She absolutely loved being up on stage. She was always trying to tell the little guy next to her to sit up straight and to sing and etc... Little miss bossy! She was thrilled to be able to wear a new dress and "high heels." Her kindergarten boyfriend, Luke, is in the one picture with her.

Small Town Living

It's great to live in a small town! You can send your kids out to the street corner in their jammies to sell farm-fresh eggs before bedtime! They sold 5 - 18 packs in a couple of hours. They were pretty pleased with themselves!
